I highly recommend the care service provided by Abnercare. My husband needed overnight care seven days a week. His two regular care workers were attentive to his every need. They were always patient, kind, polite and understanding, bearing with my husband when his dementia caused him to be out of sorts. They formed a genuine supportive, and caring bond with him in their two years of looking after him.

I felt very much at peace with them in our home and appreciated the little practical “extras” they did to help me in my daily round, such as mopping the kitchens floor, cleaning the bathroom or taking the rubbish out to the refuse store and ensuring all the waste bins in our home were clean and fresh.

When my husband was admitted to hospital, a few days before he passed away, his carer kindly came to the bedside to let me go and get some rest. He spent the night comforting and reassuring my husband and was there when I returned, just sitting quietly holding my husband’s hand. I have only praise for the compassionate, and diligent service provided by Abnercare.
